FamilyHistoryOnline.net ceased to trade at noon on Monday, 2 March 2009. Most of the records you have enjoyed on this site, have been transferred to findmypast.com, one of the leading suppliers of UK family history records where there are many more records.
You can find out more about this here in these answers to questions we've compiled.
You can no longer transfer your remaining balance to Findmypast.com as the six month limit must now have expired.

What to do with unused card vouchers
Unused card vouchers can be exchanged for findmypast.com PayAsYouGo credits until 28 February 2010. In this case you should still follow these instructions:
- Register at findmypast.com, or if you are already registered, check the email address that you registered with.
- Send an email to the customer support team
info@findmypast.com
with subject line as Family History Online Account Transfer.
Include any details of your account with FamilyHistoryOnline, including:
Your name:
but especially the email address that you use for your findmypast.com account and the serial number and password of your voucher(s).

- Your PayAsYouGo credits will be added to your account within five working days and you will receive an email from findmypast.com when this has been completed.
Fifteen per cent discount when you subscribe to findmypast.com
In addition to a PayAsYouGo service, findmypast.com offers a subscription service. This provides access to all the FamilyHistoryOnline records, PLUS civil registration records, comprehensive census records, passenger records, military lists and much more. As a special thank you, FamilyHistoryOnline customers will be able to receive a 15 per cent discount on any new subscription with findmypast.com, by quoting the following code:

You will need to enter this code in the box headed ‘Promotional code’ on the ‘Choose’ page, where you select the subscription package after signing in.
